Delete your account & data

You can delete your Name Pending account whether or not you still have the app installed. Accounts only exist for Couple Mode — if you only ever used solo mode, there’s nothing about you on our servers, and deleting the app removes your on-device data.

What deletion covers

Deleting your account removes, within 30 days, everything associated with it in our live systems — your account and email address, list memberships, name decisions, match rankings, and invite codes — and backup copies age out shortly after. We don’t retain any of it beyond that, because there’s nothing we need it for. Records our payment partners (Apple, Google) keep about past purchases are governed by their policies. Data on your device is removed by deleting the app.

Option 1: In the app

The in-app deletion flow ships with the store release of Name Pending. If you don’t see it in your build yet, use the email option below — it works the same.

Option 2: By email (no app needed)

Email support@namepending.app with the subject “Delete my account,” sent from the email address you sign in with. We’ll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

A note on purchases

The Couple Mode year pass is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — nothing renews or charges you automatically, so there is nothing to cancel before deleting your account. Any time remaining on a pass ends with the account; refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
